Manufacturer Overview
Hastelloy X (UNS N06002) Forged Parts from China
Jiangsu Liangyi is a professional Chinese manufacturer and supplier of Hastelloy X (UNS N06002) forged parts and Alloy X components, including custom open-die forgings and seamless rolled rings. Our products are produced to international material specifications such as AMS 5754, ASTM B572 and ASME SB564, with material data referenced from published ASTM International specifications. (Hastelloy® X is the grade originated by Haynes International, Inc.; see trademark note below.)
All of our Hastelloy X raw material is produced by VIM/ESR (Vacuum Induction Melting + Electro-Slag Remelting) or VIM/VAR (Vacuum Induction Melting + Vacuum Arc Remelting), ensuring that every finished Alloy X part has a fine-grained microstructure, superior mechanical properties and long-term durability under high-temperature, high-pressure service. Our factory is only 150 km from Shanghai Port and 200 km from Ningbo Port, giving us convenient global logistics to North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and beyond.

Solution Heat-Treatment Process
To guarantee high-temperature performance and microstructural stability, we apply a solution heat-treatment process to AMS 2750 with full parameter traceability:
- Heating: controlled rate ≤150 °C/h, uniform to 1175 °C ±15 °C to avoid thermal stress
- Soaking: 2.5 min per mm of effective thickness for full homogenization
- Cooling: rapid water quench or forced air to lock the solution structure and prevent grain-boundary carbides
- Inspection: 100% hardness (HB 170–230), metallography and mechanical verification
Complete heat-treatment curves, metallographic photos (100×/500×) and process records are supplied per batch — fully meeting aerospace and nuclear requirements.

Fine-Grain Control (ASTM No. 6)
Through controlled melting, forging and heat treatment, our Hastelloy X forgings achieve a uniform fine grain — measured at ASTM grain size No. 6 per ASTM E112 on the sample above — which supports:
- Higher strength: more grain-boundary area raises yield strength at room and elevated temperature
- Better fatigue life: good resistance to thermal fatigue and vibration in turbines
- Reliable ductility: high elongation retained under demanding service
- Strict phase control: 100% inspection — no mu-phase or continuous grain-boundary carbides
A uniform ASTM No. 6 grain size (per ASTM E112) is verified by metallographic testing on our Hastelloy X forgings, supporting consistent mechanical performance batch to batch. — Jiangsu Liangyi Metallurgical QA

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do your Alloy X forgings meet the GE B50A463 specification?
Where a customer specifies GE B50A463 for gas turbine parts, our Hastelloy X (UNS N06002) forgings can be produced and tested to its requirements through a controlled process:
- Melting control: VIM/ESR double melting with tight trace-element limits (P ≤0.020%, S ≤0.010%).
- Precision forging: minimum 3:1 forging ratio for critical parts and multi-directional forging for a uniform ASTM No. 4 (or finer) grain, eliminating porosity and segregation.
- Heat treatment: solution treatment to AMS 2750 at 1175 °C ±10 °C with controlled quench.
- Testing: 100% chemistry, room/high-temperature tensile, stress-rupture, grain size and UT/MT with zero rejectable defects.
- Traceability: full MTR from melting through finished part, including EN 10204 3.1 certificates.
What melting processes do you use for Hastelloy X?
We use VIM/ESR (Vacuum Induction Melting + Electro-Slag Remelting) or VIM/VAR (Vacuum Induction Melting + Vacuum Arc Remelting). These double-melting routes deliver superior purity, a uniform fine-grained microstructure and stable mechanical performance in extreme high-temperature, corrosive environments.
What is the lead time for custom Hastelloy X forgings?
Standard lead time is 15–30 days, depending on drawing complexity and size. Expedited production as short as 7–10 days is available for urgent orders.
Do you provide third-party inspection reports?
Yes. Every shipment includes original Mill Test Reports (MTR) covering chemical analysis, mechanical properties, heat-treatment records and non-destructive testing. Third-party inspection from SGS, BV or TUV is available on request.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for Hastelloy X forgings?
There is no strict MOQ. We accept single-piece prototype orders for R&D and qualification as well as full production volumes for ongoing projects.
What is the maximum size of your Hastelloy X forgings?
Open-die forgings up to 12,000 mm in length and 5,000 mm in diameter; seamless rolled rings up to 5,000 mm outer diameter. Custom oversized components are available on request.
Can you show proof of a real Hastelloy X delivery?
Yes. In May 2026 we supplied Hastelloy X (UNS N06002) forged & rolled shroud rings and spacer rings (OD 1075 × ID 1015 × H 68 mm, 5 pcs, VIM+ESR) to a major power-generation plant in India (customer confidential), certified to AMS 5754 Rev. P with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate (No. LY-MTC-2024-89072, heat HX24-0856). It passed hardness, stress-rupture (41.5 h at 816 °C / 15 ksi), 100% UT per AMS-STD-2154 Level A and dye-penetrant per ASTM E165. The certificate, heat-treatment chart, NDT photos and bill of lading are all shown in the case study above.
