Strictly Heat Treatment Process
In order to make sure that all our delivery Hastelloy X forgings have high-temperature performance and microstructure stability , we use following solution heat treatment process as per AMS 2750 aerospace with full parameter traceability:
- Heating Stage: Controlled heating rate ≤150℃/h, uniform heating to 1175℃±15℃ to avoid thermal stress and microstructure inhomogeneity
- Soaking Stage: Insulation time calculated at 2.5min per mm of effective thickness, ensuring complete dissolution of alloying elements and full homogenization of the structure
- Cooling Stage: Rapid water quenching or forced air cooling to lock the solid solution structure, avoiding harmful carbide precipitation at grain boundaries
- Final Inspection: 100% hardness testing (controlled at HB 170-230), metallographic inspection for grain uniformity, and mechanical property verification
