Seamless rolled forged steel rings are ring-shaped metals produced through the ring rolling process. Place the pre-forged round billet on the shafts between the rotating dies. When the main roller and the mandrel extrude the billet, the wall thickness decreases while the diameter expands, forming a seamless ring in which grains flow along the circumference. Compared with welded or manufactured rings, the tensile strength and fatigue strength of this type of ring have increased by 15-30%, and there are no weld seams or stress concentration points. The result is superior components for high pressure, high temperature and critical applications.
Jiangsu Liangyi can produce seamless rolled and forged rings with an outer diameter of up to 6,000mm (6 meters) outer diameter and each piece can reach up to 30 metric tons. The outer diameter of the rings we produce ranges from 200mm to 6000mm, the wall thickness from 20mm to 800mm, and the height from 50mm to 2000mm.
