Petrochemical Ethylene Plant Project - Germany (EU Market)

We supplied 19 sets of forged tube sheets for a large-scale 1.2 million tons/year ethylene plant project in Germany. Made from ASTM A182 F316L mod super austenitic stainless steel, the products has diameter of 3200mm (126 inches) and thickness of 480mm (18.9 inches).They went through TEMA Class R precision drilling, passed EN 10204 3.2 certification by TUV Rheinland and fully met PED 2014/68/EU, the EU's strict pressure equipment safety and environmental requirements. The products have been working well for over 2 years without any failures.

Heavy Oil Refinery Project - Texas, USA (North America Market)

We supplied 24 sets of forged tube plates for a 300,000 barrels/day heavy oil refinery project in Texas, USA. It is made of SA516 Gr.70  carbon steel, with a 3mm thick Hastelloy C276 layer welded on automatically.The part has a maximum diameter of 3600mm (141.7 inches) and a thickness of 580mm (22.8 inches).It meets the requirements of ASME BPVC Section VIII, API 6A, and NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for sour gas service. All products have passed 100% UT and PT non-destructive testing, as well as third-party inspection by ABS.

Seawater Desalination Project - Saudi Arabia (Middle East Market)

We supplied 36 sets of super duplex stainless steel forged tubesheets for a 200,000 m³/day multi-stage flash (MSF) seawater desalination project in Saudi Arabia. The products are made from ASTM A182 F53 (2507) super duplex stainless steel with a diameter of 3800mm (149.6 inches) and thickness of 420mm (16.5 inches), and they have a tube hole positioning accuracy of 0.01mm (0.00039 inches) and surface roughness of Ra0.6 (Ra25 microinches). They have excellent chloride ion corrosion resistance (≥40°C critical pitting temperature) and can work stably for a long time in the high-salinity, high-temperature seawater environment of the Persian Gulf.

Ultra-Supercritical Thermal Power Plant Project - Indonesia (Southeast Asia Market)

We supplied 48 sets of heat-resistant alloy steel forged tube sheets for a 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical thermal power plant project in Indonesia. The products are made from ASTM A182 F91 martensitic heat-resistant steel with a diameter of 2800mm (110.2 inches) and thickness of 620mm (24.4 inches), and they are used in high-pressure feed water heaters and boiler systems. After normalized and tempered heat treatment (1040°C normalizing, 760°C tempering), they passed JIS G3201 standard inspection and have excellent high-temperature creep resistance (≥100,000 hours creep rupture strength at 600°C/100MPa), so that they can work well in the high-temperature, high-humidity tropical environment of Southeast Asia.

Iron Ore Processing Project - Western Australia (Oceania Market)

We supplied 22 sets of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant cladded forged tube sheets for a large-scale 80 million tons/year iron ore processing project in Western Australia. The products are made from ASTM A516 Gr.70 carbon steel with 4mm 2205 duplex stainless steel explosion bonding , with a diameter of 2600mm (102.4 inches) and thickness of 380mm (15 inches). They all meet AS Australian standards and have excellent wear resistance (≥400 HB hardness) and corrosion resistance in the harsh mining slurry environment.

Manufacturing Process from Melting to Final Inspection

We have a fully production line from premium steel melting to final delivery, with strict quality control to make sure every set of forged steel tube sheets  have great performance and reliability .Following are our manufacturing process:

  1. Premium Raw Material Melting & Inspection: Premium raw steel from top domestic steel mills (Baosteel, Wuhan Iron and Steel, etc.), melted in 30t electric arc furnace (EAF), 30t ladle refining furnace (LF), and 30t vacuum degassing furnace (VOD); full chemical composition analysis and ultrasonic inspection (UT) before forging
  2. Precision Open Die Forging: Forged on 2000T, 4000T, and 6000T hydraulic forging presses, with controlled forging ratio (≥3:1 standard, ≥6:1 critical), forging temperature (1150-1250°C initial forging, 850-950°C final forging), and deformation rate to ensure consistent deformation and refined grain distribution.
  3. Fully Automatic Heat Treatment: Normalizing, quenching, tempering, annealing, solution treatment, and aging treatment in 10 fully automatic temperature-controlled heat treatment furnaces (temperature control accuracy ±5°C); heat treatment processes are customized according to material grade and project requirements to get the great metallographic distribution and performance
  4. Rough & Finish CNC Machining: CNC lathe turning, milling, boring, drilling, groove machining, reaming, chamfering, and thread machining on 5-axis CNC machining centers; fully meeting TEMA Class R/C/B precision standards and client's drawings
  5. 100% Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & Quality Inspection: 100% ultrasonic testing (UT) (ASTM A388), dye penetrant testing (PT) (ASTM A165), magnetic particle testing (MT) (optional, ASTM A275), hardness testing, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing (tensile, impact, bending), and dimensional inspection according to client's drawings
  6.
