Our AL-6XN (UNS N08367) forged parts are produced as per ISO 9001:2015. Material test reports are provided per EN 10204 3.1 (standard) or 3.2 (third-party witnessed) certification. We are also in accordance with ASTM A479, ASTM A182, and API 6A requirements for oil & gas and pressure vessel uses.
AL-6XN (UNS N08367) has a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) of 42+, much better than 316L stainless steel (PREN ~24). Hastelloy C-276 offers higher corrosion resistance (PREN ~73), AL-6XN provides a more cost-effective solution for seawater desalination, offshore platforms, and FGD systems where medium corrosion resistance is enough.
