2.4858 Forging Parts Global Applications & Case Studies
2.4858 (NiCr21Mo) alloy forgings are widely used in harsh-environment industries. Below are examples of our applications across main markets:
Chemical Processing Industry | Southeast Asia project
We supplied custom 2.4858 forged phosphoric acid evaporator components, pickling equipment parts, and chemical processing vessels for a top chemical manufacturer in Thailand and Malaysia. The parts delivered exceptional corrosion resistance to harsh oxidizing and reducing acid environments, extending the equipment's life time by 40% compared to normal stainless steel , with no issues reported over 36 months of continuous operation.
Nuclear Power Industry | European project
We manufactured 2.4858 forged reactor coolant pump casings, impellers, and related critical components for a 500MW nuclear power plant in Germany and France. Produced via triple melting (VIM+ESR+VAR) for superior material purity, all components follow EU PED standards and European nuclear industry safety requirements, and passed all required non-destructive inspections with no defects.
Oil & Gas Industry | Middle East & North America project
We delivered custom NiCr21Mo forged valve bodies, casing heads, tubing spools, and wellhead flanges for a main onshore oilfield project in Saudi Arabia (UAE) and an offshore project in the United States.
The forged parts maintained stable performance in high-pressure, H2S-containing corrosive wellbore environments, fully follow API 6A standards, with no leakage reported over 24 months of continuous operation.
Marine Engineering | Asia Pacific & Oceania Project
We supplied 2.4858 forged propeller shafts, flexible joint components, and marine piping parts for a shipping company in Singapore and Australia. The alloy's better seawater corrosion resistance and anti-fatigue performance reduced maintenance frequency by 60% and extended the life of the marine propulsion systems.
