To better show how well our NiCr21Mo16W (2.4606) forgings work, following is our some delivery cases from our Jiangyin, Jiangsu factory:

Case Study 1: Forgings for the Nuclear Power Reactor Coolant Pump

Our 2.4606 (NiCr21Mo16W) forgings have been used successfully in the reactor coolant pump systems of several 1000MW-class PWR nuclear power plants in China. We supply forged parts like pump casings, impellers, and containment seal chambers. The alloy meets all of the RCC-M specification's requirements for nuclear power equipment. It is very resistant to radiation, water corrosion at high temperatures and pressures, and has great corrosion stability in the weld heat-affected area.

Core Result: Stable operation for over 8 years without performance degradation, becoming the main supply product for China's nuclear power industry.

Case Study 2: Corrosion-Resistant Valve Forgings for Chemical Processing

For highly corrosive chemical media (such as high-temperature hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and chloride-containing wet-process phosphoric acid systems), we provide 2.4606 forgings for many top chemical company around the world, including ball valve balls, valve seats, valve bodies, pressure vessel nozzles, and heat exchanger tube sheets.

Core Result: Equipment lifetime increased from 6 months (traditional 316L stainless steel) to 5+ years, greatly reducing client maintenance costs.

Case Study 3: FGD System Forgings for Thermal Power Plants

In the flue gas desulfurization and denitrification (FGD) systems of thermal power plants and waste incineration plants, our NiCr21Mo16W forgings are widely used in main components such as slurry circulation pump casings, impellers, wear rings, and spray pipe nozzles. This material's great resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion ensures that final machined parts work very well in the highly corrosive slurry environment with high chloride ion and low pH value in the FGD system.
