1. 1.4529 (X1NiCrMoCuN25-20-7) Material Overview

✦ About the Manufacturer

Jiangsu Liangyi Co., Limited (est. 1997) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified open die forging manufacturer headquartered in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, China. With 27+ years of experiences, the company serves 50+ countries across oil & gas, nuclear power, chemical and marine engineering industries. All products have EN 10204 3.1/3.2 Mill Test Certificates.

Jiangsu Liangyi is a professional maker of 1.4529 (also known as X1NiCrMoCuN25-20-7) open die forging parts and seamless rolled steel forged rings in China. It has over 27 years of experience serving customers from more than 50 countries worldwide.

We provide full custom products from steel melting, forging, heat treatment to precision machining, strictly according to clients' drawings and technical manuals.

1.4529 is a high-alloyed super austenitic stainless steel, also classified as a nickel alloy per American standards. According to ISO standards and ASTM International classifications, when it is delivered in supersaturated solid state, it has great resistance to intercrystalline corrosion, pitting corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.

It performs well even in harsh environments including salt, seawater, high-concentration chloride ions, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and other aggressive chemicals in both liquid and gaseous forms. Its PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) exceeds 42, significantly superior to standard 316L stainless steel (PREN ~24).

This material is widely used in the chemical, paper, cryogenic, aerospace, power generation, oil & gas, and marine industries. Main end uses include heat exchangers, chemical storage tanks, industrial pumps, valves, aircraft parts, bushings, shafts, seawater desalination equipment, flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) systems, and pressure vessels.
