The main difference lies in the manufacturing process and material performance. Forged pipes are produced through open die forging, which compresses the steel ingot under high pressure to refine the grain distribution, align the grain flow, and delete internal defects. This results in 20-30% higher mechanical strength, better impact resistance and longer lifetime compared to standard hot-rolled seamless pipes.Hot rolling or cold drawing makes seamless pipes.
